Getting bigger

I'm pretty sure I'm getting taller, it's much easier to reach the kitchen surfaces now. I think they're trying to keep the rubbish away from me but don't worry I always seem to get it.

Yesterday I  managed to quickly get some cat litter, I then proceeded to throw it back up as yellow foam, note to self don't eat the really absorbent cat litter again.

My owner has been working the past week, I really miss him at night time so when he comes home after work I like to dance and jump up on him and get so excited that pee dribbles out.

I didn't go to puppy classes this week, it was the puppy party but my owner didn't really have time since he had to work later. It was fancy dress and I really wanted to go as Tinkerbell.

Puppy classes

On Sunday night I went to my first puppy class. It was quite strange and very loud. There were a couple of little King Charles spaniels, a wild Doberman, a fat chocolate Lab, 2 puppy labs, a tiny Jack Russel and a big Alsatian. The Alsatian and the Doberman were really loud and boisterous. The little Jack Russel didn't do what it was told so it made me look good. We had to walk around in a big rectangle for a while, then we had to sit and stay seated. At one point I had to sit still while the other dogs weaved around me, I wasn't going to sit there when that big Alsatian passed me, no way.

You weren't supposed to have any dinner before hand so by the end of class I was starving, I was almost eying up the Jack Russel as a snack.

Yesterday it snowed again, a lot so I went out to play in the fresh snow. It was fun.

Oh and I have no idea how I'm supposed to pronounce my name, Tor shavn, tors havn, Toe uss hown......

Health care

Wow I'm 13 weeks old already. I finished my run on the antibiotics yesterday and today I got wormed and flea removal applied. My owner managed to give me the worm medication easy but my god he was useless at applying the flea removal.

Playing fetch in snow is HARD work.

I went for a really long walk today, partly for a rescue mission but it ended up just being a walk.

Wow there's even more of this white stuff then yesterday, it's getting really deep in some places that I have to do a little hop jump.


My owner was trying to upload videos of me yesterday but it wouldn't work, finally he realised today that he was trying to upload a photo as a video.

ZOMG snow

On Friday night it started snowing really hard, my owner told me when he came home. Apparently it was a blizzard on the motorway.

To be honest I had no idea what snow was then on Saturday morning I found out......it was COLD!!.

We went for a walk around 8 am, making sure it was over an hour after I had been fed :)

I wasn't too cold after I got going and it was quite fun really. This morning I had been snowing a bit more and my owner let me off the lead to play a bit. It was a lot of fun.

Walkies

Today I had my longest walk yet, it's the route shown in blue

It's probably not that far but I love to smell every leaf I find. I'm getting really strong, my owner keeps telling me to stop pulling, hopefully I'll learn.

On Wednesday I went to Plean country park and had a nice walk there, there were lots of other doggies around and they all seemed nice. Then I went and met a new friend, Cookie. He's very small so I wasn't scared, we had fun chasing each other but when a dog next door barked I got scared, luckily Cookie didn't and ran up and down the fence, peeing occasionally.

Yesterday I turned 12 weeks old, that's 3 months :)

Poorly wee soul

Yesterday afternoon I started to urinate a lot, about 8 times in an hour. My owners had to try get a pee sample off of me then I went to the vets. The vet found a small trace of blood and protein in my urine so he gave me some tablets to take. I don't like them, I keep trying to spit them out but my owner just holds my mouth shut and rubs my throat till I swallow.

When I got weighed at my 2nd jab I was about 14Kg and yesterday I got weighed I was nearly 17Kg. I think most of the weight is my legs are a lot longer.

Off to the park

Today I had my first trip to Callendar park in Falkirk. First I went to Tescos and I stood outside with my owner and everyone who passed loved me. Then I went to pets at home to get more food. The staff recognised me and commented that I had grown, everyone in the shop came up to me and asked what breed I was, said I was gorgeous and mentioned how big my paws are. My poor owners trying to shop for me and it takes 10 times as long as it should. I don't mind though I love the attention.

After pets at home I went to Callendar park. There were so many dogs everywhere, as soon as I got out the car I was greeted by a bearded collie. Her owners said I was lovely too, then I got petted and they said I was so soft. After that I met 2 very hyper black labs, it was a bit scared and hid behind my owners. Then we got to the grass and I played a game called fetch. It involves my owners throwing a ball then I wander off and they go pick it up whilst I stare at them. It was funny I got really mucky then jumped on my owners, they looked so happy with me.

I decided it wasn't a nice place for a poo so I went back to the car, on the way back I got more comments and I met 2 boxers, one was quite old looking but they other called Ruby was only 18 weeks, it was nice to play with some dogs.

Unfortunately I got really mucky and had to get put into the shower again, I'm getting used to it though.


All in all I had an exciting day and met more people to love me.

11 weeks old today

 

Yesterday I met my owners Grans dog, he was very old looking. My owner told me that Max was blind and couldn't see me to play.

Wow that was a busy weekend.

On Friday I went to the vets, I was scared at first but then I hid myself in my owners neck. There was lots of other dogs too, they all started barking then I was really terrified. There was a Jack Russel puppy that would fit in my owners palm.

On Saturday I went to pets at home for a new collar, my owner wasn't too happy about carting me around the shop but I enjoyed it, I got LOTS of female attention and the lady at the checkout gave me a treat. I seem to be a woman magnet, they just all came up to me. 

I also had my first experience of a little walk, we went outside my owners house and along a little path and back. It wasn't a long walk yet but it was fun.

10 weeks old today

Wednesday 10th November

Wow can't believe I'm going to be 10 weeks old tomorrow, seems like only yesterday that I was born.That above was me when I was 6 to 7 weeks old, I'm about twice the size now. I came to my new home on the 31st of October, my owner is really big but nice and friendly too. He says I'm almost too big to carry though and he'll be glad once I get my second jab, which I'm getting this Friday. Not sure if I like vets yet but everyone else is lovely.

When I came to my new home I had to learn to share, there's a cat called Douglas and I really wanted us to be friends but he doesn't understand my playful antics. He just runs away from me, I like to run off with his food bowl, it's always empty but the smell is nice.

I'm much more confident on my legs now, just a few days ago I had trouble getting onto the sofa and up stairs now I can hope up onto my owners bed easily whenever he leaves the room.
